The Hôtel de Ville de Paris presents an exhibition celebrating the works exhibited in the most accessible of art galleries: the street. Street artists have always used public spaces to express their freedom and raise awareness of social issues that are important to them and to us all.
The universal accessibility value of street art is maintained in the CAPITALE(S) exhibition at City Hall, which is completely free and features approximately 70 artists, including such renowned names as Banksy, Miss Tic and Radhia Novat. Even if these names are not familiar to you, chances are you have already seen their works while walking around the capital.
The strength of this artistic expression lies in the fact that it is an integral part of our lives, it fits naturally into our daily walks and habits.
In addition to the works on display, unique archives and on-site installations will help you better understand the world of urban art. Don't wait! Go to the official website of the city of Paris to register and get your free entrance!
Available until March 25, 2023. Open every day from 10 am to 6:30 pm, with extended hours on Thursdays until 9 pm. Admission by reservation only.
