During the creation of the Modernist Hotel and thanks to the meticulous work of the decorator Patrice Henry, we paid particular attention to every detail of the interior design, inspired by the artistic effervescence of Paris in the 1930s. The hotel presents a mix of clean lines, geometries, modern materials and timeless elegance that make it a unique place to stay.
We decided to add a sophisticated touch in all the rooms with the designs of Robert Mallet-Stevens.
Mallet-Stevens was a French architect and designer renowned for his work in the modern style. The drawings we have selected are part of the portfolio “Une Cité Moderne”, published by Charles Massin in 1922. They are characterized by clean lines and precise geometric shapes, reflecting his minimalist and uncluttered style. The designs are inspired by modern architecture and art deco, creating an elegant and contemporary ambiance in every room.
In addition to his work as an interior designer, Mallet-Stevens is also known for his work as an architect. He has worked on many important projects in France, including the Villa Noailles in Hyères and the Villa Cavrois in Croix. His clean, minimalist style has inspired many designers and architects both in France and abroad.
In addition to Mallet-Stevens's drawings, the Modernist hotel is decorated with modern and elegant furniture, posters from the salons of the Porte de Versailles and paintings by contemporary artists. The ensemble creates a unique and elegant atmosphere that invites travelers to relax and enjoy their stay.
