Emotions have always been at the centre of artistic creation. Over the centuries, painters have represented emotions in their own unique way. Today we can admire a wide variety of paintings from all artistic movements that represent sadness, joy, anger and many other emotions in a thousand different ways.
The new exhibition at the Musée Marmottan Monet brings together more than 90 works that trace the evolution of the way emotions are transposed into paintings.
Courbet, Dalí, Picasso and many other leading artists are the protagonists of this selection which will surprise you with the richness of the nuances of the soul on display. The exhibition will allow you to look at the same subject through different eyes and times, an opportunity to travel in your mind and in time.
Until 21 August. Open Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm.
