Discovering the Garden: Guided Walks
From Saturday 4 April to Sunday 1 November 2026, every Saturday, Sunday and public holiday at 2.30pm, the garden offers free guided walks, subject to availability and with no booking required. Led by passionate site staff, you'll spend an hour and a quarter discovering the key moments in the Tuileries' history, through both official accounts and personal anecdotes. Comfortable shoes are recommended to make the most of the walk. Please note that tours may be cancelled in bad weather.
Cyanotype Workshop
These workshops are held every other Saturday at 10am, alternating with the "Drawing in the Garden" workshop, and last two hours.
Drawing in the Garden
Adults, too, can enjoy this exceptional setting through the "Drawing in the Garden" workshop, held every other Saturday at 10am, alternating with the cyanotype workshop. This two-and-a-half-hour open-air drawing session invites participants to observe and sketch the garden's richness: trees, groves, statues and classical perspectives.
Garden Stories
Families with young children will find their happiness in "Tales in the Garden", a storytelling escape held every other Saturday and Sunday at 10am. This poetic journey through the garden is designed for children aged 6 and up.
Cultural Jogging
For a more unusual experience, cultural jogging combines physical exercise with heritage discovery. Until September 7, 2025, adults and fitness enthusiasts can join this guided and dynamic tour of the garden. Led by a guide, the session alternates between running and historical insights. Sportswear is required.
Rendez-vous aux Jardins, the great spring gathering
very June, the Tuileries garden takes part in "Rendez-vous aux Jardins", a national event organised by the French Ministry of Culture celebrating the country's landscaped heritage. Over one weekend, the public is invited to discover the garden in a new light: guided tours led by the Louvre's Gardens Sub-Directorate, family workshops around drawing or the souvenir map, and meetings with the art gardeners and the beekeeper in charge of the hives of the National Domain of the Louvre and the Tuileries. A wonderful opportunity to see this historic garden with fresh eyes.
