The must-see activities
Among the must-see activities, we recommend a visit to the Catacombs. What better time to visit this mythical place of Paris! You can go down into the biggest ossuary of the world and walk in the 800 meters of galleries filled with skeletons remains!
For fans of gothic atmosphere, Père-Lachaise, Paris's most famous cemetery, offers a special Halloween guided walk: "Père-Lachaise en musique" (Père Lachaise in Music). On Saturday, October 31, 2026, follow in the footsteps of Chopin, Rossini, Édith Piaf, Yves Montand, Jim Morrison and many other music legends. Their graves are the starting point for stories about their lives, their work, and their ties to Paris. The special Halloween rate is €10, by reservation only. Wear comfortable shoes: the route is on foot, with cobblestones and slopes.
For fans of the unusual, the Paradox Museum welcomes Edgar Allan Poe this year, the master of the fantastic and the macabre. From 24 to 31 October, from 7 pm to midnight, step into a world of ravens, illusions, and mysteries. A hypnotist, a magician and performers will be on hand, along with a “Trick or Treat” offer for those with a sweet tooth. It’s the perfect time to discover a museum where nothing is quite what it seems!
Activities for families
For families, don’t miss the Disney Halloween Festival, running until 1 November 2026. Disneyland Park is transformed into a playground filled with grinning pumpkins, adorable little ghosts, and extravagant decorations. The Disney Villains take centre stage, and Mickey’s Halloween Celebration returns with its parade.
Many cultural centers run workshops for children, where they can make Halloween decorations, masks, and other crafts. It’s a great way to spend time together as a family while getting ready for the witching hour.
As every year, children can go trick-or-treating door to door, or head to Parc Astérix for the new edition of Peur sur le Parc, with plenty of brand-new attractions and entertainment!
